Reno CyberKnife Names Dr. Katie Legarza Co-Medical Director

Dr. Katie Legarza has been named Co-Medical Director of Reno CyberKnife, joining Dr. Jonathan Tay, who has served as the center’s Medical Director since 2008.

Dr. Legarza and Dr. Tay will now serve as Co-Medical Directors of Reno CyberKnife, leading the center’s team of experienced cancer care specialists.

Dr. Legarza is a board-certified radiation oncologist and has been treating patients at Reno CyberKnife for nearly five years. She is one of the core team members involved in developing and growing the CyberKnife^® program.

An active member of the Cancer Committee at Reno CyberKnife’s hospital partner, Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center, Dr. Legarza is a member of the American College of Radiation Oncology, American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology and the Radiosurgery Society.
