Reno CyberKnife Earns Reaccreditation from the American College of Radiology
Reno CyberKnife recently completed and passed their reaccreditation from the American College of Radiology (ACR). The center is now reaccredited for the next three years.
The ACR is a national professional organization serving more than 36,000 diagnostic/interventional radiologists, radiation oncologists, nuclear medicine physicians and medical physicists with programs focusing on the practice of medical imaging and radiation oncology and the delivery of comprehensive health care services. Being accreditation by the ACR is recognized as the gold standard in medical imaging.
The center was surveyed and accredited by the ACR Committee on Radiation Oncology Practice Accreditation, a program that provides third-party, impartial peer review and evaluation of patient care, with evaluation of staff, equipment, treatment planning and records, patient safety and quality control activities.
Reno CyberKnife is honored to achieve this prestigious designation again and we want to thank and congratulate our dedicated staff and physicians on a job well done!
