Alexander Justin Lin, MD, is a board-certified radiation oncologist at our Reno cancer treatment center. Dr. Lin earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska.  He received both his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering and his medical doctorate from the University of California in Irvine, California.  He completed his internship in internal medicine at the University of California and his residency in radiation oncology at the Alvin J. Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.

Dr. Lin has been awarded numerous honors, has authored articles in over 40 peer-reviewed publications, and is a reviewer for four oncology industry journals.  He has been active in several professional societies and organizations and is currently a member of the American Board of Radiology (ABR) and the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO).

In his spare time, he enjoys exploring trails with his wife and two children, chamber music, reading biographies, and learning about new cultures through his travels.
